The AOBA is a wealth of information for anyone interested in the alpaca industry from the alpaca it’s self to fashion. The Alpaca Registry (ARI)

The Alpaca Registry is a database housing the genealogy, blood typing and ownership records of alpacas in North America and those of a few alpacas outside this area. Since its inception in late 1988, the Registry has mandated blood typing as a requisite for registration and accepts only offspring of registered alpacas that qualify by blood typing. Exceptions to this rule currently include alpacas intended for import into North America provided that they pass rigorous screening in their native land and crias imported in utero by screened and registered dams.  Registry membership includes all owners of living, registered alpacas.  Couldn't get to the ARI site this morning. Not sure what the problem is. Could be my network…so I couldn't get you a pic of the ARI Logo. Sorry.

Midwest Alpaca Owners and Breeders Association (MOPACA)

A Dynamic organization of over 65 alpaca breeders who live in the Midwestern states of Arkansas, Iowa, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma and Tennessee.  MOPACA works towards the growth of the alpaca industry by providing a communication network for alpaca owners and breeders, while sharing knowledge of husbandry techniques and marketing with its members.

AN is a centralized marketplace for the alpaca industry -- alpaca breeders, alpaca products and services.  We provide access to the latest alpaca farming information, stimulating the growth of the global alpaca industry.

Alpaca Fiber Cooperative of North America (AFCNA)

The AFCNA is an agricultural cooperative formed and owned by alpaca producers in North America for the purpose of collecting and processing alpaca fiber and distributing alpaca fiber and related products and the profit from them to its owners (members). Our goal is to maximize the long-term benefits to our members, the individual alpaca fiber producers, and to the alpaca breeding industry as a whole.
